In our 26th year, Pueblo de Abiquiú Library & Cultural Center is the informational, cultural, educational and historical heart of Abiquiú. Thank you for your continued love and support. We’re your library!
Our mission is to be the primary source for educational, cultural, and historical information; provide support services; promote learning and literacy; host programs and events; and be a safe space to collaborate, create, and engage with community.
History in the making.
As a cultural center, we hold the archival historical and genealogical records for the community (as far back as 1610). With a rich historical past, we are supporting and working to preserve history, culture and traditions today for future generations.
Community Connection
As a library, we offer books, magazines, DVDs and more! We also provide the tools to connect our community. Through programs, services, events and activities, we strive to positively impact community members of all ages Our reach extends to the entire community of Abiquiú as well as the communities in Gallina, Canones, and Youngsville. Everyone is welcome!

For anyone that would like to explore the complex cultural history of northern New Mexico, do not miss the Abiquiu Library and Cultural Center. The Library has a thoughtfully selected collection of Southwestern literature and artifacts, and the Library staff are friendly and helpful in navigating the space. The Library served as an excellent location for our meeting and I would highly recommend this venue to others for meetings that require an intimate and thoughtful location."
